International AI Negotiations

International AI treaty negotations can be expected to happen at events like the AI Safety Summits, UN Global Dialogues on AI Governance, the US-China AI dialogues, the World Artificial Intelligence Conference’s governance discussions, etc. Thus far, these haven’t been nearly as focused on catastrophic or existential risks as they ought to be.

This page should have more written or linked to here about specific events and their outcomes, and upcoming events that could potentially be impactful. It should perhaps be merged with or have more to differentiate it from Starting treaty negotiations.
